- Cabinets are carefully removed, packaged and taken them our shop to be painted.
- Entire cabinet and doors are THOROUGHLY cleaned and sanded.
- Any repairs (holes, cracks, imperfections, etc.) are carefully filled prior to painting.
- A critical part of the process is the first coat. We use a top quality oil-based primer, which will form a strong bond and will not scratch or peel from the existing cabinet surface.
- We allow the primer coat to dry and harden for at least 24 hours.
- The cabinets are caulked as needed, and then two finish coats of premium oil-based enamel are applied. Each coat of finish paint is allowed to dry for 24 hours as well.
- Once final coats are completed, door hardware is installed and doors are re-re-hung. (This is also the perfect opportunity for you to upgrade your kitchen cabinet hardware, with either new hinges, handles, or knobs!)
